Christmas Pageant 2023 – What a Night!
The weather was perfect & the event began with the judging of the Decorated Bikes Competition, held in the Post Office Car Park. Lots of glitter & sparkles were riding around .A big thank you to our judge Glenys Hall. The bikes participated in a “Hot Lap” of the Pageant route, ably lead by special guest rider “Elf Gen”.

The weather was perfect & a huge crowd enjoyed the 144th Annual Crystal Brook Show on Saturday August 12th. The estimated crowd of more than 5000 streamed through the gates from 9am until late in the day.

Merriton cattle breeders Lin, Maureen, Sam, Jade, Adele & Eliza Inglis recently won Grand Champion Carcase in Australia’s largest grass-fed beef competition held in Penola.

ANZAC Day, 108 Years on. On April25, 6.15am we stopped to pay tribute to all the ANZAC’s, past, present & future. We also paid tribute to all our Vietnam Veterans & those who never made it home. It is 50 years this year since the last troops came home.

This year we celebrate 150 years since land was opened up for agricultural settlement and after 150 years there are still a few families on their original farms.
A Snapshot of Crystal Brook’s Historic Homes
Join us on an informative walk through the streets of Crystal Brook to show some of our unique and historic Australian homes.
The walk is 2.8 kms long and takes approximately 1 hour at a leisurely pace.
Crystal Brook Magical History Tour
The first part of this tour can be enjoyed as a walking tour, however the sites a little further out may need to be driven. If walking town sites, the distance is 6 kms and will take you approximately 2 hours. Please enjoy our proud history.
