Crystal Brook Primary School held its annual Sports Day on Friday, September 5 and what a fantastic day it was! Students showed amazing teamwork, determination, and school spirit across all events. The atmosphere was full of energy, with families and staff cheering on every participant.Big congratulations go to Bowman, who were the overall winners on the day. Well done to all students for giving their best effort and showing such great sportsmanship. You should all be proud of your achievements.

Earlier in July, valued Roseview resident & former Bowman Park volunteer Ron Renshaw made a memorable return to the Park he once helped care for – this time, accompanied by his young friends from Crystal Brook Kindergarten.

On Saturday, March 29, we proudly celebrated 100 years of Crystal Brook & District Hospital’s dedicated service to our community with a centenary cabaret event!

On February 25, the Primary School held its annual Family Night. Thank you to all the students, staff & families who joined us. What a wonderful way to start the year with families visiting classrooms, chatting with staff & finishing off with a colour run. It was a blast!

Australia Day Honours
It is with great pleasure that the Crystal Brook Community Association announces that Genevieve Wells is this year’s Crystal Brook Citizen of the Year. Genevieve has been a tireless volunteer within Crystal Brook since coming to the community with her husband Michael. -
It’s Street Party Time ! The Crystal Brook Christmas Street Party will be held on Friday December 13. Bowman Street, from eyre Road to Railway Terrace will be closed from 4.30pm until 9.30pm to enable activities & stall holders & the band to begin setting up.

Christmas Pageant 2023 – What a Night! The weather was perfect & the event began with the judging of the Decorated Bikes Competition, held in the Post Office Car Park. Lots of glitter & sparkles were riding around .A big thank you to our judge Glenys Hall. The bikes participated in a “Hot Lap” of the Pageant route, ably lead by special guest rider “Elf Gen”.

The weather was perfect & a huge crowd enjoyed the 144th Annual Crystal Brook Show on Saturday August 12th. The estimated crowd of more than 5000 streamed through the gates from 9am until late in the day.

This year we celebrate 150 years since land was opened up for agricultural settlement and after 150 years there are still a few families on their original farms.
